Due to their increased activities in China/AP Region, an opportunity has now arisen for the role of AP Marketing Director, to take the responsibilities for further developing the marketing strategies for the aerospace businesses. Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the development, production, and communication of the Asia Pacific Strategic Plan 2. Analyze OEM customers’ and competitors’ strategies and determine implications for Company’s ability to differentiate in the market 3. Performs segmentation analysis and develops the strategy that fits our competencies 4. Identify and communicate key customer decision making criteria for new / derivative product developments 5. Ensure the alignment of the regional strategy with business unit and product line strategy and priorities and Support other APAC strategy marketing or business development activities Role Competencies: 1. Understand the Automation product line and business strategies and how they apply to the Asia Pacific region 2. Develop strong professional networks within the company and with key customers / partners 3. Effective communication of complex market issues in a concise manner (both written and orally) 4. Develop and help execute the OEM and Partnership components of Asia Pacific Strategic Plan Job Knowledge, Skills: 1. BS or BA in Automation, Engineering,Mechanical or other relevant discipline. 2. 10+ years in Product marketing, Equipment marketing or other relevant discipline in aviation or similar industry. 3. Strong and demonstrated business-to-business analytical, financial, strategic thinking and marketing skills 3. Good written and verbal communications skills in English and Mandarin Experiences, Education: 1. Advanced degree (MS or MBA) preferred. 2. Some experience in the Automation Equipment industry and Breadth of experience with Automation products (mechanical and electronics) and aftermarket services 3. Results focused with successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution.
