Our client has been named as one of the leading fund management firms in the Asia Pacific and was ranked among top 10 largest fund managers in terms of the total asset under management of hedge fund managers.

They have a research team which is based in their Shanghai Rep Office in Pudong. To expand its business in China, our client is looking to recruit a high level candidate with in depth knowledge of hedge fund and solid business development skill to lead and manage the China business.

Reporting to the Head of sales based in Hong Kong, the successful candidate will be responsible for channel and client group marketing across all business lines. Your aim will be to drive growth in assets, by deepening and broadening the client base in the China while at the same time managing and supporting the marketing efforts in the region. As part of the senior management team your responsibilities will include developing the client service proposition and contributing to the successful development of the business.

You will be experienced in investment markets (10 years+) with a track record of building strong relationships and delivering results. You will be a credible and inspirational leader with an innovative and collaborative style, along with an ability to respond quickly to business needs. You will possess excellent presentation and communication skills, be self-motivated with a desire to succeed and be willing to travel regularly. Hedge fund experience is preferred.
