Job Title:         SAP Manager APAC
Location:         Beijing, China
Reporting line:
Administrative/Resource management: IT VP Corp, APAC
Functional: IT VP - Enterprise Applications at each Segment

Scope:
The work scope covers SAP functions for all the company’s locations in APAC, including Greater China, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Korea, Japan, India and Thailand.

Work Focus:

-        Lead the SAP function in the region
Communicate, engage or partner with global SAP functional team and local business to deliver solutions that enhance business.
Proactively seeking understanding of the business environment in the region, business and operation strategies, and identify opportunities to enhance work efficiencies and support business growth.
Execute SAP strategy that is aligned with Corporate and Segment and Regional IT strategies.
Define, manage and communicate service level of the regional SAP team.
Understand and forecast on internal customer demand as well as plan and communicate on the fulfillment of the internal customer demand.
-        Organizational development
Optimize the organizational structure of the regional SAP team including internal staff and external contractors.
Access develop and upgrade resources structure to meet the current and future need of IT as value added business partner.
Develop and maintain motivated and competent team.
Manage and define matrix to measure regional SAP team’s performance.
-        Project oversight
Ensure SAP projects in the region are delivered on time, on budget, on quality and achieve pre-defined business values.
Site visit when needed to directly understand progress and problems.
Articulate issues to senior management.
-        Manage IT governance, risk, and controls
Proactive advocate on SAP standard processes.
Ensure compliance of global SAP and project governance processes in the region.


Education:
-        Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management.
-        MBA or MS degree a plus.


Experience and Qualification:

-        Require +5 years SAP implementation experience as FICO consultant.
-        Require +3 years SAP project management or team lead experience.
-        Mechanical engineering industry or manufacturing environment experiences a plus.
-        Experience working in a matrix organization environment.
