Job Title:     Production Manager, China Region
Location:    Shanghai
Reporting Line:   General Manager

Job Responsibilities

Ÿ   Overall responsible for daily operations of manufacturing department to achieve business goals
Ÿ   To lead the Production team to ensure the production plan completed in time and meets the requirement of sales
Ÿ   Set manufacturing goals consistent with the plant and business goals and implement programs accordingly
Ÿ   Prepare production annual budget and implement cost control measurements
Ÿ   In charge of raw material planning and detail scheduling
Ÿ   Ensure all production SOP and parameters are well followed
Ÿ   Be responsible for safety operation. Keep daily operation in line with Corporate EHS Standard
Ÿ   Review Production process regularly towards ensuring that the Production cycle time is optimized and implemented
Ÿ   Ensure the products meet quality standards. Coordinate with team members for the production process to improve quality
Ÿ   Review regularly all quality issues and ensure agreed corrective/preventive plans are implemented

Job Requirements

Ÿ   Bachelors degree or Master degree in Chemical or the related
Ÿ   At least 3 years working experience in a multinational company at the management or supervision level
Ÿ   Have broad technical understanding of chemical and/or polymer processes
Ÿ   People Management, Training & Development and coaching skills
Ÿ   Independent minded, self-confident, have a sufficient level of empathy, know how to work in team and motivate people
Ÿ   Strong learning capability and desire to learn and grow the career through contribution to company’s growth strategy
Ÿ   Good communication and coordination skills
Ÿ   Good command of written and spoken English
